This 85 pound Halibut was landed at Westport on Sunday June 6th by Emmett Detraz of Renton . Although the directed offshore Halibut season is closed, the near shore area off Westport remains open for Halibut. We normally catch a few nice halibut per week on our regular rockfish/lingcod trips out of Westport.
