The Westport Catch of the week winner is Ray Jennings of Bothell. Ray was fishing on a Charterboat out of Westport on Monday August 27th when he landed this Season leading Chinook. The fish weighed in dressed at 36 pounds 3 ounces. We figured the fish to weigh 41 and a quarter pounds in the round, that's a nice fish. Ray won the Westport Charterboat Associations daily prize of $225 and is on the board for the largest Chinook of the season prize of $2500. The recent department of Fish and Wildlife's rule change allows us to now keep a Wild Coho in our bag of two fish.
