Volkswagen had one of the most talked about ads in last year’s Super Bowl – the little boy dressed as Darth Vader who was trying to get his inner Force on.
It’s a lot for VW to live up to this year. They’re giving it a shot with “The Dog Strikes Back.” It’s about an obese pooch who hits the weights, pool and treadmill to get skinny so he can get through his doggie door to chase a Beetle.
But the end of the ad pays homage to its predecessor. Watch and enjoy.
