The Seattle Storm begin the defense of their WNBA title Thursday night as they host the Phoenix Mercury in the first of a three game series.  The rivalry between the two clubs is huge and the level of competitiveness high.

"Whenever we play Phoenix it's very competitive. Both teams know each other very well.  They're very offense oriented, we're very defensive oriented and we seem to bring the best out of each other," said Brian Agler, head coach of the Seattle Storm.

Playing at home and having fan support will be key to a win.

"We've got the best fans in the league and home court advantage. We've worked hard for that and hopefully we can take advantage of it," said Agler.

Tip off is at 7:00 p.m. at Key Arena. For tickets go to the box office or visit www.stormbasketball.com.  The Storm is giving away free courtside tickets if you can find Doppler, the mascot, in Seattle at 3:30pm on Thursday, September 15, 2011. Check Twitter  @seattlestorm for those clues.
