Seattle Storm's Janell Burse (33) looks to the basket after grabing an offensive rebound, and putting it back up for two points over Phoenix Mercury's Gwen Jackson, left, during the first half, Thursday, June 2, 2005, in Phoenix. Burse finished with 21 points as the Storm won, 78-67.

SEATTLE - The agent for Seattle Storm center Janell Burse says she will miss part and possibly all of the 2008 season due to injuries to her shoulder and foot.

Boris Lelchitski says Burse is returning to Houston from Prague, Czech Republic, this week. She has been playing for a Prague team.

The agent says the 6-foot-5 veteran center has been ebating about taking some time off and this is the time she's going to do it.

Burse re-signed with the Storm last month. She was expected to report to the team's training camp in Seattle by this week.

Burse has played seven seasons in the WNBA, the last four in Seattle.

The Storm will wind up its exhibition schedule at 7 on Saturday night at KeyArena against the Indiana Fever. Minus stars Lauren Jackson and Sue Bird, who have been playing professionally in Russia, the Storm has lost its first two exhibition games.
