Seattle SuperSonics' Rashard Lewis, top, slams home a dunk as teammate Earl Watson, bottom, looks on against the Memphis Grizzlies during the fourth quarter of an NBA basketball game Monday, Dec. 18, 2006, in Memphis, Tenn. Memphis defeated Seattle 143-126 in double overtime.

SEATTLE - With one more basket from beyond the arc, forward Rashard Lewis will become the most prolific 3-point shooter in Seattle SuperSonics history.

In nine seasons with the Sonics, the 27-year-old Lewis has made 917 3-pointers, tying him for the franchise record with guard Gary Payton, who was with Seattle from 1990-2003.

Lewis also is closing in on 10,000 points (9,804) and 600 NBA games (598). Payton holds the records for the most points (18,207) and games (999) for the Sonics.

With a three-game losing streak, the Sonics will be at the Key Arena tomorrow night to face the Detroit Pistons. They're back in Seattle after a four-game road trip.

They face the Golden State Warriors at home Saturday night and will be at Portland Sunday night.
