The NFL says if a snowstorm threatens to wipe out the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 2, they’ll move it to another day.

ESPN.com reports that NFL vice-president of events Frank Supovitz said the league has contingency plans to move the game to Saturday or delay it until Monday night. But he says those contingency plans are in place for every Super Bowl.

This will be the first Super Bowl held in an outdoor stadium in a cold weather city.

At a press conference Wednesday, a MetLife Stadium crew demonstrated a machine that can melt 600 tons of snow in one hour.
