Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley is traveling to Jacksonville to interview for the Jaguars head coaching job, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Wednesday.
Bradley was in Philadelphia Tuesday for a second interview with the Eagles and was considered to be a strong contender, but the Eagles announced the hiring of University of Oregon head coach Chip Kelly Wednesday.
The only other head coaching vacancy, besides Jacksonville, is in Arizona.
Under Bradley, the Seahawks posted the top scoring defense in the league in 2012 and the fourth-ranked overall defense, statistically.
The Jaguars have also reportedly interviewed Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell. Bevell was also a candidate for head coach with the Chicago Bears, but he was passed over for the CFL’s Marc Trestman.
