The 2014 NFL free agency period officially opened at 1 p.m. PDT. Here’s a look at 2013 Seahawks players looking for homes as well as players the team is showing an interest in.

Cornerback Walter Thurmond is reportedly visiting the Jacksonville Jaguars, a team that already signed defensive tackle Red Bryant and is coached by former Seahawks defensive coordinator Gus Bradley.

Wide receiver Golden Tate will visit the Detroit Lions, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

NBC’s Pro Football Talk wrote that Detroit needs a player to line up opposite Calvin Johnson (a.k.a Megatron).

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced they signed defensive tackle Clinton McDonald pending a physical.

McDonald’s exit became likely after the Seahawks agreed to a deal with defensive end Michael Bennett on Monday.

Seattle is also reportedly hard at work to sign DT Tony McDaniel.

And they appear to be interested in Cowboys DT free agent Jason Hatcher.

Multiple sources also said Packers tight end Jermichael Finley is headed for a visit in Seattle.

Finley had fusion surgery in November after he suffered a season-ending neck injury on October 20th.

Late tonight, there's word that former Idaho State Bengal Jared Allen may be interested in Seattle.

And it sounds like the Jets want to sign OT Breno Giacomini
