College coaches in the NFL: Good, bad and works in progress

College career: 68-67. 5-1 bowl record; NFL career: 0-0 --We should label this “Construction just under way.” Schiano did what few thought possible, turning the Rutgers Scarlet Knights into Big East contenders. Schiano was named AP Coach of the Year in 2006 after an 11-2 campaign, although his overall record is not quite impressive. He was hired in 2012 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
