Former Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Cortez Kennedy, the only man to win NFL Defensive Player of the Year on a 2-14 team, was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on August 4. Kennedy’s No. 96 jersey was later retired by the Seahawks, joining the likes of Walter Jones and fellow Hall of Famer Steve Largent.
