WSU holding tryouts for QB

07:35 AM PDT on Thursday, October 2, 2008

Associated Press

PULLMAN, Wash. - Because of injuries to Washington State quarterbacks the Cougars are holding a campus tryout Monday for a quarterback for the scout team.

Coach Paul Wulff says there has to be someone enrolled at WSU who has played quarterback.

The Cougars lost Gary Rogers and Kevin Lopina to injuries two weeks ago. Redshirt Marshall Lobbestael will start Saturday at UCLA.
