Earl Thomas, DeShawn Shead out with hamstring strains

SEATTLE -- Seahawks safety Earl Thomas and cornerback DeShawn Shead could be out of action a couple of weeks after each suffered a first-degree hamstring strain in Sunday's win over the Eagles, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll told 710 ESPN Seattle Monday. Carroll said it's typically a 10-to-14 day injury.

Thomas was injured in the third quarter on the play in which Richard Sherman intercepted Carson Wentz. Thomas left the game and did not return.

Carroll reportedly did not say how long running back C.J. Prosise would be out. He suffered a scapula injury and speculation is it could keep him out the rest of the regular season.

The Seahawks play the Buccaneers and the Panthers the next two games.
