TACOMA, Wash. (AP) -- Senior Anrio Adams scored six of his 11 points in the final 2 minutes as Rainier Beach held off Spokane's University 61-53 on Friday in a semifinal game at the state 3A boys basketball tournament.

The Vikings (26-3) will play for their sixth state title on Saturday. The Titans (20-5) were looking to play in their first championship game.

University led by as many as 10 points in the first half but the Vikings outscored University 21-8 in the third quarter to take the lead for good. The Titans got to within three points at 53-50 before Adams took over. Will Dorsey led Rainier Beach with 16 points and Marquis Davis chipped in 13. Elijah Foster had six steals.

The Titans got 15 points each from Brett Bailey and Jared Miller. Rainier Beach forced 20 University turnovers while committing just nine.
