Nathaniel Holcomb (QB), Puyallup

Senior Nathaniel Holcomb led Puyallup to an impressive win over Curtis in the season opener 49-24. Holcomb threw for 427 yards and 6 touchdowns, leading the south sound in passing yards after week 1.

Austin Carder (WR/DB), Cascade Christian

Senior Austin Carder was instrumental in Cascade Christian’s 32-14 win over Orting this week. Carder had 4 catches and 2 touchdowns for a total, of 94 yards, as well as catching 2 interceptions while on defense.

Ben Barton (RB/LB), Kamiak

Junior Ben Barton helped Kamiak win their season opener 17-0 over Bishop Blanchet. Barton had 162 rushing yards on 24 carries, 2 touchdowns, and 4 sacks while on defense.

Keegan Stich (RB/OLB), Snohomish

Junior Keegan Stich impressed in the home opener against Marysville Pilchuck 63-13. Stich had a total of 269 yards on 14 carries, 4 rushing touchdowns and 1 reception for a 5th touchdown.

Jakob Holbrook (RB), Tumwater

Junior Jakob Holbrook made a statement in his first career start, helping Tumwater to a victory over Franklin Pierce 77-42. Holbrook had 220 rushing yards on 16 carries and 4 touchdowns.
