SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) -- Hank Robinson, the tournament MVP, scored a game-high 20 points as Pe Ell beat Liberty Christian 66-41 in the Class 2B boys state championship game Saturday night. Robinson scored 11 points in the first half, nine coming in the decisive 14-7 second quarter. Tyler Ratkie added 16 points for Pe Ell (20-4). Liberty Christian (21-3) was led by Jake Siefken with 11 points, Cody Brockman had nine and Bryan Corrigan added eight, six coming in the first quarter. A 12-2 second quarter Pe Ell run, capped by back-to-back 3-pointers by Robinson and Lerry Tolliver, gave the Trojans a 28-16 lead with 2:21 left. Pe Ell opened the third quarter by going on a 13-4 run, extending its lead to 41-22 with 4:16 left. Tyler Ratkie scored seven consecutive points during the run. The Trojans opened the fourth quarter with an 8-4 run and led by as much as 27 points. Liberty Christian made just 16 of 48 shots and hit 19 percent of its 3-pointers. The Patriots had 21 fewer rebounds and eight less assists. Pe Ell shot 55.6 percent in the second half and was 26 of 59 for the game.
