TACOMA, Wash. (AP) -- Brittany McPhee shook off some aggressive defense to score six of her game-high 28 points in the final 2 1/2 minutes as top-ranked Mount Rainier rallied to beat Inglemoor 61-56 in a quarterfinal game of the 4A state girls basketball tournament on Thursday.
 

McPhee also had 15 rebounds for the Rams (26-1), who went on a 10-0 run to overcome a five-point deficit. With a three-point lead, Emily Fiso made the clinching free throws for Mount Rainier in the final seconds.
 

Julia Haining led the Vikings (21-3) with 19 points and nine rebounds. Deja Strother had seven rebounds, but both inside players fouled out late in the game.
 

Haining scored eight of her points during a 5-minute stretch spanning the third and fourth quarters that saw Inglemoor turn a 41-36 deficit into a 51-45 lead.

McPhee was 7 for 17 from the field and made 14 of 15 free throws.
