TACOMA, Wash. (AP) -- Cleveland opened the fourth quarter with a 16-4 spurt, and the Eagles kept their state title hopes alive with a 52-43 win over Bellevue in a semifinal game of the 3A state girls basketball tournament Friday night.
 

Alexis Mefi scored six of her seven points during the opening 1:43 of the fourth, helping turn a 37-34 deficit after three quarters into a 42-39 lead for the Eagles (26-2).
 

Makala Roper scored 14 points for Cleveland, while Donniesha Webber added nine points and 12 rebounds. The Eagles outrebounded Bellevue 47-40 and had eight blocked shots.
 

Bellevue (25-3) was led by Shelby Cansler's 16 points and eight rebounds, but the Wolverines shot just 29 percent from the field.
 

Cleveland will face Seattle Prep in Saturday's 3A state title game. The Eagles won the 2010 state tournament.
