The first KING 5 high school football Game of the Week for the 2010 season will be Gig Harbor vs. Peninsula.

Nearly half of the 1,918 voters who logged on to KING5.com say they want to see Chris Egan's live reports Friday night as the Tides face the Seahawks.

Here's how the voting went down:

  • Gig Harbor vs. Peninsula – 49 percent
  • Curtis vs. Rogers – 24 percent
  • Skyline vs. Liberty – 13 percent
  • Central Kitsap vs. Eastlake – 11 percent
  • Graham-Kapowsin vs. Federal Way – 3 percent

The Game of the Week poll for Friday, Sept. 10 will be posted Friday, Sept. 3.
