TACOMA, Wash (AP) -- Sydney Emory's 3-pointer with 4.5 seconds left capped a big comeback Friday as Central Valley rallied to beat Mount Rainier 42-40 in a semifinal game at the state 4A girls basketball tournament.

The Bears (22-3), who were last in the tournament in 2004, will play for their fourth state title on Saturday. Central Valley trailed Mount Rainier (19-11) by as many as 11 points before rallying.

Central Valley didn't have any players in double-figures but was led by the nine points, 15 rebounds and three steals of freshman post Madison Hovren. Emory finished with eight points, six on 3-pointers.

Mount Rainier got a big game from forward Brittany McPhee, who scored 17 points and grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds to go with three blocked shots. Kiana Gandy added eight points and six rebounds. The Rams were looking to play in their first title game.
