TACOMA, Wash. (AP) -- Sophie Reichelt scored 16 points and Holy Names held off Shadle Park 47-42 in the semifinals of the Class 3A girls state tournament on Friday night.

Shadle Park rallied from eight points down entering the fourth quarter to tie the game at 42-all with three minutes to play. The Highlanders struggled to get a decent look at the basket the final few minutes, forcing them to send Holy Names to the free throw line.

Erika Johnson's free throw with 35 seconds to play game the Cougars a 45-42 lead.

Kendra Knutsen missed a shot in the lane for Shadle Park and Laura Sullivan hit two free throws with 15 seconds to play to put the game out of reach.

Chelsea Handler had 18 points to lead the way for Shadle Park.

Claire Conricode added 13 points for Holy Names but left the game with an apparent right leg injury late in the fourth quarter. It's the first trip to the championship game for Holy Names.
