TACOMA, Wash. (AP) -- Cheyenne Wilson scored 24 points and Cleveland saw Mercer Island's frenzied fourth-quarter rally fall short as the Eagles advanced to the Class 3A title game with a 57-55 win on Friday night.

Down by two, Mercer Island's Hannah Lilly missed a pair of free throws with 2.7 seconds to play and Cleveland held on to advance to its first title game in school history.

Mercer Island trailed by 15 entering the fourth quarter and by 12 with less than four minutes to play, but they pressed Cleveland into turnovers and missed shots. Hailey Gulstad then converted consecutive baskets to pull within five with 1:22 left to play.

Trailing by four, Jae Shin hit a 3-pointer from the left wing with 28 seconds left to pull within one. After a jump ball that went to Mercer Island, Lilly was fouled but couldn't convert.

Whitney Wilson added 16 for Cleveland, who will face Holy Names in the title game.

Lilly led Mercer Island with 17 points. Gulstad finished with 9.
