TACOMA, Wash. (AP) -- Mitch Saylor hit a jumper in the lane with 11 seconds to play to lift Union past Lakes 63-62 in the semifinals of the Class 3A boys state tournament on Friday night. A 3-pointer by Andre Winston Jr. at the buzzer bounced off the front of the rim sending the Titans to the title game for the first time in their three-year history. Union trailed 62-59, but Chris Morgan scored with 53 seconds left and was fouled. He couldn't convert the three-point play for Union, but Isaac Winston missed a 3-pointer from the left corner with 20 seconds left. Morgan went the length of the court and found Saylor in the lane for the game winner. Morgan led the way for Union with 20 points. Tanner Nelson finished with 11. Andre Winston Jr. has 21 points to lead Lakes. Isaac Winston added 19.
