SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) -- Elaun Sherwood scored nine points, and balanced Napavine beat Reardan 46-35 on Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Class 2B girls state tournament. Demi Sahlinger and Amy Goettleman added eight points apiece for Napavine (19-3). The Tigers led by just five points after three quarters. Napavine was able to pull away thanks to its defense that held Reardan to six fourth-quarter points. Reardan (18-4) was led by Kelsey Moos with a game-high 15 points. Moos was just 3 of 12 shooting and the Indians made just 26.7 percent of their shots. Napavine struggled from the field too, making 15 of 41 shots.
