YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) -- Tournament MVP Jennifer Cole scored 16 points to lead River Ridge to its third Class 2A girls state title with a 57-46 victory over Prosser on Saturday. Cole spearheaded a 13-0 run in the third quarter with six points, which snapped a 28-all tie and put the Hawks (26-1) in the lead to stay. Jasmine McDonald and all-tournament first-team pick Samira McDonald added 11 points each. Tayshia Hunt led Prosser with 20 points and Tamara Jones added 13 and seven rebounds. The Hawks also won titles in 2007 and 2008.
