MEDINAH, Ill. (AP) — Brandt Snedeker is one of the most polite people on the PGA Tour, and he's a dead ringer for Opie Taylor with his fresh-faced, youthful looks.
Don't let that fool you.
Snedeker has a serious edge on the golf course, and he's not afraid to mix it up. He has three top-10 finishes in the last six weeks, including his monster win at the Tour Championship, and sees no reason why he can't make a run at world No. 1.
First, however, there's the Ryder Cup to win.
The 31-year-old is one of four rookies on the U.S. team, and Snedeker says Friday "can't get here quick enough."
Europe has won four of the last five Ryder Cups.
