MINNEAPOLIS – Two sources tell ESPN that former Portland Trail Blazer and Washington Husky Brandon Roy is being courted by at least four NBA franchises.
Yahoo! Sports reported, the Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, Indiana Pacers and Minnesota Timberwolves were all eyeing Roy’s possible comeback.
Earlier this month, Roy via a Twitter press conference said that he was working toward returning to the NBA next year.
Roy was forced to retire on December 10, 2011 after doctors told him his oft-injured knees could no longer sustain the pounding of an NBA season.
Roy played five seasons for the Blazers, where he became a two-time All-Star.
