Northbound State Route 99 was closed between the West Seattle Bridge and SODO at 10 p.m. Friday but was reopened by 5 p.m. Saturday, far ahead of the planned 5 a.m. Monday reopening.
The closure affected football fans headed to see the Huskies on Saturday but Seahawks fans lucked out - the road will be open.
SR 99 was closed so construction crews could finish work on a new stretch of road.
The new section of the highway has three lanes, with one designated for buses.
