The University of Washington football program has reinstated suspended quarterback Cyler Miles, the team announced Wednesday, and receiver Demore'ea Stringfellow has transferred.

Both players were suspended in early February after an alleged assault near campus during a post-Super Bowl celebration.

Miles was not charged, but photos from that night show the suspended Husky was an active participant in the incident.

Stringfellow pleaded guilty to three charges to avoid jail time. Police say he grabbed a camera used to take the photos and punched a woman. The judge sentenced Stringfellow to five days on a work crew and almost $700 in fines.

Miles was the presumptive starting quarterback heading into spring workouts, but was left on the sidelines even after prosecutors decided not to charge him.

UW also announced that running back Ryan McDaniel has retired from the program due to a lingering knee injury.
