TACOMA - Let's head down to the woodshed for Mat Classic 19.
We'll start at the Tacoma Dome in the 4A, where Lake Stevens wins the state championship.
Kelly Kubec is the headliner at 130 pounds. He wins his third straight state title, defeating Jared Sterling of Rogers, 7-3.

At 103 pounds, Zack Zweifel pins his Lake Stevens teammate, Jack Stilwell to take the title.

At 152 pounds, Andrew Johnson of Tahoma wins his third straight state championship, defeating Eric Starks of Battle Ground, 5-2. That's also Johnson's 100th career victory.
At 112, Kentwood's Brandon Rogers finishes the season 44-and-1, winning the state title over Kmbren Bitney of Puyallup, 9-2.
Brad Sweet becomes the first state champion in any sport for Graham-Kapowsin. The 145-pound Sweet pins Armondo Luna of Pasco.
And now the big man in 4A, 285-pound Kalani Teirukini of Curtis. He finishes the season undefeated with a 9-7 overtime win over Kyle Stults of Heritage.
Now it's on to the 3A, where Sedro Woolley makes it six straight state championships.
At 112 pounds, Derek Crouter wins his third consecutive title, defeating Issac Romero of Sunnyside, 2-0.
The Cubs' Michael Lomsdalen at 160, also wins his third straight title. He takes out Leif Woldseth of Franklin Pierce, 7-2.
At 140, Auburn-Riverside's Mike Mangrum becomes a two-time state champ. He defeats Zach Martin of Peninsula in a technical fall, 20-5.
Auburn's Shane Onufer brings it against Kelso's Andrew Buck. First, the 171-pounder gets the pin, and caps it off with a little show time.
Chase Smith of Enumclaw defeats Mitchell Amidon of Auburn Riverside. Smith takes home the state title at 135 pounds.
Justin Purvis, the little man, packs plenty of power at 103. He finishes the season undefeated, pinning Steven Romero of Sunnyside.
Mason May of Yelm wins his second straight championship. He defeats Kevin O'Neil of Sedro Wooley, 9-6.
Congratulations go to Everett's Parker Burns for finishing his season undefeated. The 215-pounder takes out Charles Moetului of Mt. Si, 13-6.
In the 1A, Tony Farrington of Orting completes the list of five three-time winners at Mat Classic 19. The 124-pound Farrington defeats Arturo Barajas of Royal, 7-3 for his third straight title.
And finally, the 2A. Derek Driscoll of West Chehalis, outlasts Ephrata's Dallas Hintz, 10-7.
Driscoll is the state champ at 152 pounds.
Girls wrestling
For the first time in state history, the girls competed for state championships.
And Hoquiam will go down as the first team state champion.
The Grizzlies had the most wrestlers, and the most state champs, starting with Kelsey Klein at 125. Klein defeated Termae Rowshan of Camas, 5-4.
At 135, Alex White wins the state title, defeating Summer Steenberg of Sequim, 5-2.
At 112, Antonia Navejas of Kentwood defeats Lucky Saengchan of River Ridge. Navejas rolls to the title, 11-1.
At 160, Kylee Bishop of Washington, comes out strong against Oak Harbor's Sydney Nelson. Bishop wins the title, 9-1.
And the wrestler who goes down as the first-ever girls state champ, is 103-pounder, Sarah Rowen of Columbia River. She defeats Tara Miller of Jackson, 3-2.
