Little scores, Seattle Reign remain unbeaten in 1-1 draw

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Seattle Reign FC’s unbeaten streak to open the National Women’s Soccer League season continued Wednesday with a 1-1 draw against FC Kansas City Wednesday.

Kansas City scored in the 42nd minute on a goal by National Team member Amy Rodriguez past U.S. teammate Hope Solo.

The Reign tied it up four minutes later on a penalty kick by Kim Little. Her seventh goal of the season has her tied with Rodriguez for the league lead.

It’s the first draw for Seattle, which had won 7 straight to start the season. The Reign leads the NWSL standings with 22 points. They also lead the league with 17 goals.

The Reign return home Sunday for a 4 p.m. match against the Western New York Flash at Seattle Center’s Memorial Stadium.
