The Seattle Center will host a Seahawks fan rally and celebration of Super Bowl XLVIII on Wednesday from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Mayor Ed Murray, members of the Sea Gals, Blue Thunder, Blitz and Seahawks alumni are scheduled to appear. And the top 40 cover band, Curb Appeal, will perform live.
Right after the rally, Seahawks fans will have the chance to participate in the "From the Needle to New Jersey" flag signing and relay.
The 25-foot by 35-foot flag, flown atop the Space Needle for every recent Seahawks playoff run, will be on display from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. for fans to sign with their well wishes to the team.
Fans will be able to follow the flag's journey every step of the way via Space Needle social media channels, including their Facebook page and the hashtag #NeedletoNJ.
Seattle Center is offering free round trip transportation on the Monorail from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for fans wearing Seahawks apparel.
