Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Kevin Williams reportedly turned down a little more money from the New England Patriots.

ESPN reports that Williams, who spent the first 11 years of his career with the Minnesota Vikings, also received offers from the Vikings and the New York Giants.

"I just think there were better pieces in place in Seattle,” Williams said, adding that he wasn’t sure how good the Vikings would be this year and that Seattle and New England had better quarterbacking situations.

Williams’ 1-year deal with Seattle will reportedly pay him $2.1 million with $500,000 guaranteed.

The 6-time Pro Bowler had 29 tackles, 3.5 sacks and an interception last season.
