Whether or not Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman is the best shutdown corner in the NFL, right now, he's definitely one of the best trash-talkers.
Sherman, aka Optimus Prime, got into a Twitter battle with Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis (@Revis24). Sherman (@RSherman_25) started it when he re-tweeted something, as well as a Super Bowl stunt.
@rsherman_25 To all of ur haters look @ RSHERM VS THE BEST WR'S IN THIS LEAGUE AND COMPARE HIS PERFORMANCE AGAINST ANY OTHER CB THEN WE TALK

Clearly Revis did not appreciate the re-tweet.
I never seen a man before run his mouth so much like girl. This dude just steady putting my name in his mouth to get notoriety @rsherman_25

This battle went on for a few more tweets.
Got off my flight to this hilarious convo. So I have 8 picks 3 ff and a sack.My season stats looking like Revis career stats

My boy @johngeiger_ got more followers then @rsherman_25. Sit down young pup & wait your turn.

Remember that time the number of twitter followers mattered more than the production on the field? Me either @revis24
— Richard Sherman (@RSherman_25) February 20, 2013
That's like you saying your better then Deion Sanders & since he's not playing no more he's irrelevant for what he's done. @rsherman_25
— Darrelle Revis (@Revis24) February 20, 2013
For the QB not throwing his way argument. In his 2nd year they were throwing his way.I still doubled his picks

Of course, Sherman just sees it as another game with a wide receiver. Something to have some fun.
Thank you twitter and all the fans for both sides.Always fun chatting. Will be back soon

If nothing else, Sherman is as entertaining on or off the field. He's taken on Tom Brady and Darrelle Revis. Who's next? Oh, in case you didn't see his Super Bowl stunt, the video is below.
