SPOKANE, Wash.  -- Gonzaga is ranked No. 3 in the latest USA Today college basketball poll and No. 5 in the latest Associated Press poll.

The Zags received one first place vote in the USA Today poll and two first place votes in the AP poll. Both were released Monday.

This is their highest ranking since December 2008.

Duke was ranked No. 1 in the USA Today poll followed by Indiana. Miami and Michigan round out the top 5.

Indiana retained first place in the AP poll, followed by Duke, Miami, and Michigan.

Gonzaga (23-2) plays at rival Saint Mary's on Thursday.
