Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate says he’s willing to take less money on his new free agent contact in order to stay with the Super Bowl champions.
Tate made the comments in an interview with Sports Radio 950 KJR Tuesday, ESPN.com reported.
"Honestly, I would rather take a little less to be happy and win ballgames than to take way more and go to a crappy city where the fans don't give a crap about the team, you win a game once a month -- something like that,” said Tate.
Tate, 25, will be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason. He had 64 catches for 898 yards this past season.
