Free agent wide receiver Golden Tate says he did his job on the field and now is just waiting to find out what kind of deal the Seattle Seahawks may offer him to stay with the Super Bowl champions.

“I haven’t heard too much. I’ve kind of just been trusting in my agent and him being good at his work,” Tate told SiriusXM NFL Radio. “The icing on the cake would be to stay in Seattle and have a nice contract thrown my way, but right now, I’m just enjoying being a world champion.”

Tate led the team with 64 catches for 898 yards and five touchdowns in 2013. Tate has improved in receptions and yards in each of his four seasons.

"I did my job. I handled my business. I stayed healthy. I was reliable all year. Each year I've shown to be better than the last,” said Tate.

He also had an 11.5-yard average on punt returns.

"With that being said, I’ve done my part so I can’t really worry about it."

Tate is considered one of the top free agent wide receivers on the market.

The Seahawks are also looking at resigning free agent defensive end Michael Bennett and are looking to the future with contracts for quarterback Russell Wilson, cornerback Richard Sherman and safety Earl Thomas expected to be renegotiated within the next year.
