Former Mariners pitcher and current baseball analyst Bill Krueger survived a tremendous scare, thanks to four men who jumped to his aid. Bill seemed the picture of health since his playing days, but last month, he collapsed during a workout at his gym and went into cardiac arrest. Four employees used a portable defibrillator and CPR until medics arrived.
Thankfully, Bill's recovery was quick and he's back on the air at ROOT SPORTS, covering the M's! Bill joined Margaret to talk about his life-changing experience, along with three of his four heroes: Carl Swedberg, Trevor Loos and Loic Sachs from Pro Sports Club in Bellevue. The fourth man, Tom Spencer, was holding down the fort at work.
They also talked about the importance of having portable defibrillators at every business and fitness center.
