KING 5 Sports Reporter/Anchor Chris Egan sat down with former Seahawks Quarterback and ESPN football analyst Brock Huard to get his thoughts on news that Jim Mora has been fired. Huard also shares his thoughts on bringing Pete Carroll to Seattle as Mora's replacement.

So it is official-thereby proving the reason for my username-Paul Allen and company think hiring Carroll will do the trick-that would be because of his outstanding NFL record, his ability to control the behavior of young men in his charge-let's talk upcoming sanctions, his stick with it attitude during the rough times-upcoming sanctions will temporarily kill recruiting and, of course, his ties to the Northwest. Oh, well.

Jim Mora publicly humiliated his players. It is one thing to provide honest critisism that is meant to build character, but he ran his players down - in public. If that is what we heard in public can you imagine what those guys were hearing behind closed doors? And it showed on the field. No-one can perform under those circumstances, no-one. Open your eyes people. I understand that most of us suffer similar conditions; our bosses only offer negative critisism, never praise, people honk at you and gesture while you drive, everyone you must do business with seems to completely disregard the concept of customer service so you feel like a walking wallet only and not a human being. I get that. I know how you feel. But you still cannot openly run people down the way Jim Mora did. To quote Mr. Mora... "Unacceptable!"

I do not believe we should fire Mora after only 1yr. The one that needs to be replaced is Hasselbeck. His performance was not even close to what it used to be. Get us a new QB and leave Mora.
