It's being called one of the scariest movies of the summer -- the new documentary "Blackfish" opens in Seattle at the Seven Gables Theatre on Friday.

The devastating film works to show that orca whales belong in the open sea -- not in a tank at an amusement park like SeaWorld.

It features never-before-seen footage, reviews incidents when whales killed trainers and goes back to the 1970s when orcas were rounded up in Puget Sound waters.

SeaWorld did not participate in the making of the documentary but launched a PR campaign calling "Blackfish" misleading and scientifically inaccurate.

Visit the events page for more details on the "Blackfish" opening.
