Ketchup and mustard aren’t the only condiments you can  put on your hot dog. Po Dog, a gourmet Seattle-based hot dog business, puts a whole new twist on one of America’s favorite foods.

At Po Dog, you can have Japanese, Chinese, or Mexican cuisine, but all menu items have one common ingredient: hot dog.

“This piece of meat that you just think of as a summer [food], can actually be transformed into something so much better,” said Laura Olsen, owner of Po Dog.

Olsen said she opened Po Dog because she’s loved hot dogs since childhood. She came up with her creative menu through trial-and-error.

Some wacky but tasty combos include the wasabi dog – wrapped in a sushi roll and deep fried, the peanut butter dog – topped with sliced bananas and peanuts, and the Mac n’ Cheese Dog – nestled beside homemade maceroni and topped with cheddar cheese.
