Reporter Tonya Mosley
Tonya Mosley joined KING 5 News in September of 2005. She moved to the Northwest from Louisville, Ky., where she worked as a reporter/fill-in anchor for the FOX affiliate.
Tonya's earlier professional experiences include reporter/weekend anchor for NBC 33 in Fort Wayne, Ind., and behind the scenes as a producer in Columbia, Mo., Lansing, Flint and Detroit, Mich.
Tonya has a passion for telling stories of the heart. Her most memorable story was that of a mother from India who was reunited with a daughter that was stolen at birth 20 years earlier.
Tonya has won several awards including three from the Associated Press for reporting. She attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. She’s currently a board trustee for the Giddens School in Seattle, a community services coordinator for the Danna K. Johnston Foundation Successful Women’s Project and a mentor for the youth empowerment group “Her Best Self.”
When she’s not digging for stories, Tonya enjoys spending time with her family, blogging, tennis and enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
