What a terrible choice! I will never watch this show again! As a native of washingon I have watched this show since Penny lagate and brian tracey and I just think there was not much thought put into this! The Fans Miss John Curley! The Choice should have Been JIm Dever! King 5 has really gone down the tube in the past few years, alot of the good news people have left!

I'm delighted. We live across the street from where Meeghan filmed her first Evening Magazine--boy, it was cold out there. Since I was missing her traffic reports during my morning calisthenics, I figured she could be the new host, and was waiting to see how it would show up on screen. Way to go, Meeghan!

Yay! I love Meeghan! She's done a fantastic job in the past. She seems to be a kind woman who has an interest in other people. John was funny on TV, but a little too full of himself in real life, and unfortuantly I think that carried over into many of his segments. Ignore the nay-sayers. You picked the right person!

I was so excited to finally fine out who the new host of Evening Magazine was going to be, I'M thrilled it's Meeghan, I have watched her since she first came to King 5. What a great choice, I love Meeghan with Cisco and so happy to hear she's still will continue that role with him, I wouldn't survive without Cisco and Meeghan showing me how to take care of my yard. Even though there were so many choices within the Evening Magazine crew I believe Meeghan is the right choice, WELCOME MEEGHAN, I'm ready to start this new chapter in your life with you. Congrats.

Hurray for us!!! We are so fortunate to have Meehgan hosting Evening Magazine. Thank you, thank you, thank you channel 5 for recognizing that she is the right person for this position. King TV made a huge mistake. The new host should be Jim Dever. You are lucky that he will continue to be a part of the show and hopefully keep most of your previous viewers but probably not this one!

Great choice. I like Jim Dever also but sometimes his humor rubs me wrong. Meeghan IS THE RIGHT CHOICE.

Do not what happened to John Curley but am glad he is gone. I like this show but he talked so FAST that I had trouble following him so did not watch to often. Megan is a very good choice and I'm sure she will do well. CONGRATULATIONS MEGAN!!! Dian Thompson

Congratulations Meeghan! We will mis you in the morning, but will be thrilled to see you in the evening. I am so glad you will also continue gardening with Cisco. The two of you do such a great job. I am sure you will enjoy getting to sleep in later every day and will enjoy breakfast with your family. You deserve this. Good job King 5.

Congrats to you Meeghan. I will and have been missing you in the morning with Joyce, Brad and Rich. It will sadden me not to see you in the morning. It was a fun family to watch. As long as you are still going to be with our lovable Cisco, that will help. Now I hope they leave Eric there to take your place. He so fits in.

Meeghan will bring me back to Evening Magazine. I have followed her from her early days and think she is terrific local tv personality. She is like a breath of fresh air every time she is on the air. I am so glad she will still do 'Gardening With Cisco', as they have a great time and their enthusiasm is infectious and so enjoyable. A very good choice as the host of Evening Magazine, I say Hooray.

katie8522 - you sound like a control freak, "we won't be watching ..." No one else in the family gets a say in the matter? Meeghan wouldn't have been my choice, but at least they didn't pick the goofy/giggly Ciscoe Morris. How Meeghan could tolerate being on Gardening With Ciscoe is beyond me, maybe that's why they gave her this show, she has paid her dues having to put up with his goofiness. True, she gets paid to be on the show with him, but enough is enough, and 3 minutes of him is tooooo much.

THANK YOU KING 5, your selection of Meeghan Black is the best you could have done. She is fun to watch, knows her stuff, is personable and comes across like she is talking to you when she's excited about what she is showcasing. I am glad she is not giving up Gardening with Cisco, it is very helpful to newcomers to WA who aren't familar with the plants and planting here in the Northwest.

Horray! Meegan has always been a favorite - especially with Cisco! So, I'm glad not only do we get more of Meegan, but we still get the both of them! That's how KING5 keeps me loyal! Plus all the other reporters and newscasters, I keep up with the Today Show and NBC Nightly News, too! TV5 rarely leaves my TV!!

I couldn't agree more with all the Yes yes yes postings. I'm a big fan of Meegan and haven't been nearly as thrilled to watch Evening Mag since my early days with Penny LeGate--who I missed terribly. You've got my attention now with Meegan as host--I'm thrilled again and eager to watch more regularly. As a Meegan follower, I've always felt she was way underutilized at the traffic desk--I'm so glad you agree. Congrats Meegan!

Great choice. It's been so fun watching Meeghan grow into her roles over the years, from KIRO reporter (i.e. WTO) to KING weather forecaster to traffic reporter to Cisco's foil and leveler in those fun, informative gardening segments and shows. I never had the impression she was pretentious, but instead quite down-to-earth. Her new role demands that the subject--not her ego--shine through. Congratulations, Meeghan! -- Helen

We are so pleased that we will be able to Meeghan in our living room each weeknight! She has long been a favorite. We're Seattle area natives can remember when ABC was channel 5 and NBC was on 4. Good choice, KING TV!!!

We are very happy to see Meeghan Black as the host of Evening Magazine. We enjoy her with Ciscoe on the gardeining program and will now make Evening Magazone one of our must-watch programs. Congratulations Meeghan!

Good for Meeghan! I thought Jim Dever was just another John Curley...just trying to be goofy for goofy's sake. And while the other "guest" hosts were fine (Mimi Jung, Saint Bryan, Lisa Gangle, etc.), Meeghan has the right personality to fit the show. Oh, and plus, she has killer eyes and a great smile. Congrats Girl!

Meeghan Im sending this idea both to evening and the Ciscoe sites. I generally catch the Ciscoe clips on the news and love the information you share...what would make it more exciting for myself would be to do a re-visit series, where you show a quick clip of the cutting back to the after affect when the plants are back in full bloom! Maybe a special each season when the seasonal plants are in bloom. I did send the same idea to the Ciscoe site. You are the perfect fit for evening magazine! Thank You Ingrid Mcdonald
