Just a ferry away, this destination was dubbed "The City of Dreams" and expected to be the largest seaport on the West Coast - bigger than San Francisco or Seattle. Instead, it became a town frozen in time and now a great place to relive the 1890s.

This was a really good feature video on Port Townsend. But, why did you leave out the haunted, paranormal ghost stories in your video. It described everything about historic Port Townsend except the ghost stories. For an example of the ghost of Port Townsend enter PIHA into this KING 5 TV website and watch the video on the historic Palace Hotel in downtown Port Townsend or how about the haunted Point Wilson Lighthouse now run by the Port Townsend Coast Guard Auxiliary? And don't forget the Jefferson County Museum located in the original City Hall building right downtown. Maybe next time you do a show featuring a historic community or museum in Washington, you'll include the ghost stories with the history. It would make a more complete story. Thanks, for your great show, Evening Magazine!!!!!
