Excellent choice for the new Evening Magazine host! I think Meeghan would probably do a great job with whatever you throw at her. I've always enjoyed her banter with Ciscoe Morris. Glad to hear she'll be getting to sleep in a bit and have breakfast with her family more often. I've enjoyed all of the guest hosts on Evening Magazine since John Curley left. Great group of people.

Last year in January, we attended the "Artifact Day" at the Burke Museum. We were interviewed by Evening Magazine at the event. This year the event is coming up on January 23rd, 2010, 1pm-4pm. We had learned about the event from a segment on Evening Magazine, so I was wondering if you will be doing a segment this year, and possibly using some footage from last year? I won't want to miss it. Please let me know. Thanks, Beverly

Hi Meeghan, I have a story suggestion! The Renton Public Library, which has been serving Renton residents for over 100 years, is on the verge of becoming just another branch of the King County Library System. It is the only library over a river. Several times in its history, the citizens of Renton came through with fundraising, donations, volunteering and other ideas to make the library succeed. This is another one of those times where they need to step forward to keep their library independent, as the vote whether to annex to KCLS is on the February 9th ballot. Obviously you couldn't tell people how to vote, but the history is interesting and it's very timely. For more info, visit www.saverentonlibrary.org. Thank you for your consideration.
