Because of Washington’s new laws, lots of people are using hands-free devices for their cell phones.

But how would you like to access your e-mail or playing a virtual reality game without lifting a finger?

Some researchers at the University of Washington say it's not a futuristic fantasy anymore. They're creating a new way of looking at the world through bionic contact lenses.

I hope there is more to this story than the frivolity of accessing e-mail or playing virtual reality games. I am watching a 90 y.o. woman give up on what life she has left because she has lost her eye site to macular degeneration. Her quality of life would be improved enormously, if she could but see even if she had to wear thick glasses. I am probably in the minority, but when I see leads such as these I am not just turned off, but angry. There is enough elitism in the world; playing games and an app for this and an app for that while many many of us struggle to have some kind of reasonable life.
