LONDON (AP) — There's a new video out imagining what a missing British toddler might look like two years after she disappeared.
Madeleine McCann was four years old when she disappeared while on vacation with her family in Portugal in May 2007.
The video was released today by British police who urged Internet users to spread the pictures as widely as they can.
The appeal was launched by the U.K. Child Exploitation and Online Protection Center. Detectives hope the video will "prick the conscience" of someone who may be close to the girl's abductor.
Gerry McCann, her father, told the BBC today the video is an attempt to contact specific people rather than just appeal to the public for information.
