Clinton says Obama is committed to Mideast peace

Associated Press

Posted on November 3, 2009 at 3:48 AM

MARRAKECH, Morocco (AP) — U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is telling officials of the greater Middle East that President Barack Obama is determined to attain an Israeli-Palestinian peace.

At a conference attended by foreign ministers and other officials of the Middle East, North Africa and several major industrialized countries, Clinton also said that in pursuing the goal of Mideast peace, all parties should — in her words — "be careful about what we say."

She referred to the need to avoid recriminations that she said are understandable but harmful. She was not specific about her cautionary warning.

After making her speech, Clinton was flying to Cairo for a hastily arranged meeting with senior Egyptian government officials, including President Hosni Mubarak.

What a joke this is. One slacker backing up another. Get your nose out of other nations problems. She's over there wasting our money blowing hot air when we have enough of our own problems at home. Give it up losers Rodham and BO. No other countries look up to you two clowns with any respect and you're both giving the US a worse image than we already have. Solve the problem by untieing Israels hands and let these two go at it. Problem solved.
