Does Larson not understand that social security and medicare are not "guaranteed?" They are unfunded, because his party made them that way by takeing the money and putting it in the general fund. All the republicans are trying to do is force the government to put the FICA monies into a dedicated fund owned by the contributors so Larson can't spend it on stuff we don't need. I would suggest that Larson is a liar at worst and a fiscal idiot at best.

What has Koster done in the past to create jobs? I can't find a thing that qualifies him to do the job!

Mr. Koster, like so many other republicans these days is critical of the work done by the democrats, yet he offers no alternate solutions. The last administration caused our present financial state. I wonder how they maintain such straight faces when they criticize those who are working to pay their bill. I can't see how lowering our nations income is going to lower our debt. We haven't paid the bill for 8 years and now it's coming due. The republican credit card is way over drawn. I'd like to see our elected folks stop their urination contest and solve our problems for the long term. Bandaids will not stop the hurt. As for republicans, they should keep in mind it is their problem. They spent without "taxing".

If you’re willing to throw your money away for nothing and have plenty of money to do this, just donate it to the schools or your governments revenue department and then take a write off on your taxes, but don’t hook others as well as myself for something we can’t pay for because we are already strapped with debt to live, basic services taxes, energy taxes, consumption taxes, transportation taxes, sin taxes, and hundreds of other taxes that employers and consumers already can't afford to pay.
