The Centralia Police Anti-Crime team arrested two men for alleged drug trafficking Thursday, February 28th. They also seized over $111,000 and methamphetamines from two different cars.
Based on information from a Tacoma area narcotics unit, Centralia police pulled over a silver FJ Cruiser. After securing a search warrant, police discovered over $111,000 in the door panels of the vehicle.
At the same time, a dark colored Ford Explorer was pulled over a few miles north in Thurston County. Using a search warrant, police seized numerous pound of methamphetamines.
Centralia police arrested two suspects, identified as 34-year-old Ascencion Ortega Garcia of Centralia and 37-year-old Venacio Bastian Tolentino of Rochester.
The two vehicles were moved to a secure facility.
This is an ongoing investigation involving the Centralia Police Department and the Tacoma-area narcotics task force.
